A Warm LNPC Welcome for the Medina Family – A “Pounding”
Donate Friday, 8/21 - Friday, 8/28
What is a Pounding? It’s a Christian tradition dating back to at least the 19th century when congregations welcomed a new pastor by bringing a “pound” of something for the parsonage—coffee, sugar, flour, honey, or another household staple.
Since we don’t have a parsonage—and don’t want to bombard the Medinas while they’re unpacking, we’ll have a Pounding collection box in the church office. If you’d like to participate, please drop off your contribution by Friday, August 28th in the church office.
Have fun with it! Bring a “pound” of a family favorite, a pantry treat, or perhaps a gift card for tacos, donuts, ice cream, coffee, or another favorite local spot. You could also include a recipe or, even better, a personal note welcoming Pastor Ray and his family to LNPC.
Hopefully, this will help stock their pantry, introduce them to some of our local favorites, and—most importantly—let the Medina family know how happy we are to welcome them into the LNPC family.
Summer Choir Encore - Sing for Pastor Ray’s First Sunday!
September 6th, 9AM, Sanctuary
Help us give Pastor Ray and his family a joyful LNPC welcome on his first Sunday as our official Senior Pastor!
Simply come to the sanctuary at 9:00 AM for rehearsal, and we’ll prepare together to sing during the 10:00 AM worship service. No long-term choir commitment is needed—just bring your voice and your enthusiasm! Everyone Welcome!

Choir Retreat - Come sing With Us!

Join us for the LNPC Choir Retreat on Saturday, September 19, from 8:30 AM–1:30 PM. We’re delighted to welcome Binh Vu as our guest speaker for this special morning of music, fellowship, and inspiration.
The retreat isn’t just for current choir members! Anyone who enjoys singing or is interested in becoming part of the LNPC Choir is warmly encouraged to attend. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the choir, experience the joy of making music together, and learn more about being part of LNPC’s music ministry.

Men’s Ministry Plays Mini Golf
Saturday, September 26th Meet at LNPC at 2 PM for Carpool
Guys, come enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition and good fellowship! LNPC Men’s Ministry is heading to Boomers in Irvine for a round of mini golf on Saturday, September 26th.
We’ll meet at LNPC at 2:00 PM and carpool together to Boomers. Whether you’re a mini-golf pro or just hoping to keep the ball on the course, this is an easy, fun way to connect with other men from LNPC.

Dedicate Chancel Flowers
Celebrate a special occasion, honor the memory of a loved one, or give thanks with a Chancel Flower dedication. Arrangements are $85 each and will be displayed during Sunday worship. You are welcome to take your flowers home following the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service.
Several dedication dates are still available. Reserve an open Sunday by signing up online, adding your name to the flower chart in the Narthex, or calling the church office.
